Titan Mining agreed commercial terms for a proposed graphite processing facility on US Army land. Financing, a final lease and customer qualification remain key steps towards commercial production.

Titan Mining has taken another step towards building a domestic graphite supply chain, agreeing commercial terms for a proposed processing facility on US Army land.

Its Empire State Mines subsidiary signed a term sheet covering a site at Anniston Army Depot in Alabama. Titan would finance, build, own and operate the facility, producing processed graphite for defence, industrial and energy supply chains.

For investors, the agreement advances the project towards development. Processing graphite into higher-value products could expand Titan’s business beyond supplying raw materials.

The commercial hurdles remain substantial. A final lease, financing and successful customer qualification are still needed before the proposed operation can deliver meaningful revenue.

The next developments to watch are funding terms and customer commitments. Those will help establish whether this strategic opportunity can become a profitable operation.
