Worthy Endeavor: Treasure Global Rebounds 62% as Healthcare Plans Take Shape

Treasure Global rebounded nearly 62% as investors assessed its proposed healthcare expansion. A non-binding agreement offers a potential opening, while thin margins, continuing losses and financing needs leave substantial questions.

Treasure Global (NASDAQ: TGL) is targeting Southeast Asia’s healthcare supply market—but its proposed expansion still needs firm contracts.
Shares rebounded nearly 62% to $0.45 on Wednesday, October 14, with approximately 205.6 million shares traded. The jump followed a roughly 67% slide the previous day, highlighting the stock’s volatility.
The Malaysia-based technology company operates ZCITY, an app combining electronic payments with loyalty rewards. It now wants to extend its commerce capabilities into medical and pharmaceutical distribution.
An October 13 memorandum of understanding with Singapore’s Union Concept Trading targets Malaysia and selected regional markets, including government and institutional procurement. The MOU is non-binding, with six months of exclusivity while definitive agreements are negotiated.
The financial challenge is substantial. Fiscal 2026 revenue reached approximately $5.17 million, but gross profit was just $8,742 and the net loss was about $11.1 million. Management flagged substantial doubt about the company’s ability to continue operating and plans to seek further equity financing, exposing shareholders to dilution.
What we’re watching: Definitive agreements, procurement wins and cash collected. Can Treasure Global turn its healthcare plans into profitable sales—and how will it fund the expansion?
This is not an investment recommendation.
